My first blog..ok??dont judge me by this..

well..it was 14th feb..valentine's day.our college had an unofficial colour code..where the committed people had 2 wear white..and needless 2 say, our college... was a sea of white..there were couples everywhere....walking hand in hand..all lovey-dovey,oblivious 2 the people around them..and wherever i went i was given that look...u know ..that sympathetic look as if to say "too bad ure single this year...maybe next year"...and it made me sick. Suddenly the Shiv Sena beating up all those valentine couples didnt seem like such a bad idea...okkkk maybe that's taking things a bit too far but its just that.... since that day I started to hate the mere sight of couples.well im not opposed to the whole process..the feeling of liking someone is one of the sweetest things in life ...but when two people commit there's when the whole sickening part begins..for the third person of course!!Well i've seen a few relationships develop at close quarters and it is shocking to observe how much the guy changes to endear himself to the girl...yeah suddenly he becomes all mushy and stuff..for instance...one cold night at arond 3 o'clock i stepped out of my hostel room and ther was this guy..sitting on the stairs..whispering sweet nothings on his cell phone.and he was all mush u know the "i love u",i miss u"type..since when did guys become like that..werent guys supposed to stay up that late only to watch world cup matches.Guys.... arent they supposed to be thick-skinned,stoic,macho and stuff.Well..most of you woulld have seen the madhavan-vidya balan airtel ad..where the guy calls up the girl for the eighth time to say good night....duuuuude even if the std rate is 1 paisa per min why would you call someone 8 times to say good night..dont you have anything better to do?. The painful thing is that this does happen in real life....couples just cant get enough of each other..and everyone else just becomes secondary..be it close friends,family.. and the worst part is that the guy does not seem to mind getting his life manipulated,he doesnt mind keeping his atm machine busy to please the girl,he doesnt mind waking up till the wee hours of the morning learning about his girlfriend's dead dog,basically he doesnt mind making a total ass out of himself!

Well after reading this you may feel this is a case of sour grapes..well its not(don't laugh!)..but i just wanted to put forward my views to tell all young people who just want to get into a relationship with the next person they find because its an "in thing"...well being single is not so bad after all..well just look at this way..u all will get married one day..(i hope u do!)and ull be committed to one(one only i hope!) person for 50 or more years.And when u are,maybe one day in your free time you will sit back and remember the days when u were single,freeee...free to do anything u like..not worrying about what your partner thinks...when u didnt give a damn when someone broke a nose or something("you know my girlfriend has this rash..i couldnt sleep all night "), when you made decisions based on only your own preference("Ohh I cant go.. my girlfriend is a vegetarian")when you spent time and money only on yourself("Oh my girlfriends bday is coming up"). Yeah these are the good times mate..and next time you are single on valentine's day ..raise a toast to these good times..and not out of consolation.Well thats it...so long till the next crazzzy idea comes along
